You can get the FREE* NHS flu vaccine if:

  • you are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)
  • you have certain long-term health conditions
  • you are pregnant
  • you live in a care home
  • you are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
  • you live with someone who has a weakened immune system
  • you are a frontline health and social care workers can also get a flu vaccine through their employer.
  • you have conditions that affect your breathing, such as asthma (needing a steroid inhaler or tablets), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or cystic fibrosis
  • you have heart conditions, such as coronary heart disease or heart failure
  • you have chronic kidney disease
  • you have liver disease, such as cirrhosis or hepatitis
  • you have some conditions that affect your brain or nerves, such as Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy
  • you have diabetes or Addison's disease
  • you have a weakened immune system due to a condition such as HIV or AIDS, or due to a treatment such as chemotherapy or steroid medicine
  • you have problems with your spleen, such as sickle cell disease, or if you've had your spleen removed
  • you have a learning disability
  • you have being very overweight – a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or above

      Will my prescription ordering process change?

          No! You can still call in on the pharmacy, order from your GP, the NHS app or website or message us. 


          You may choose to order your repeat prescription directly from us - you can do that here: 

      Can I move my prescription/s to your pharmacy?

          Yes, you can transfer your prescription from one pharmacy to another. Simply provide the our pharmacy with your prescription details, and they will arrange the transfer for you.

      Can I get my prescription delivered to my home?

          Most of our patinets choose to collect their prepared prescriptions from the Pharmacy. We also offer a free of charge delivery service for patients unable to collect from the pharmacy. 

      Can I get a repeat prescription for my medication?

          Yes, if your doctor has authorized it, you can get repeat prescriptions. Your pharmacy can set up a system to automatically refill your prescription when it's due.

      When will my prescription be ready?

          The time it takes for your prescription to be ready can vary based on the pharmacy's workload and the availability of the medication. It's a good idea to call the pharmacy ahead of time to check on the status. 

      Can I get a specify the brand or manufacturer?

          Generic medications contain the same active ingredients and are equivalent in quality and effectiveness to brand-name medications.

          In most cases, our pharmacists will endeavour to supply a specific generic version of a prescribed medication, if it is available.
